The referendum held on 19 July 2023 to decide if the Leavenheath NDP should become part of Babergh's Council's Development Plan returned a 87% majority 'yes' in favour of the plan. This means that Babergh Council are now obliged to 'make' (adopt) this plan and they will publish a notice to that effect in due course.
A big "thank you" from the Leavenheath Neighbourhood Plan Committee to the many parishioners who provided information, comment and feedback which has all helped to evolve a Neighbourhood Plan that has been so strongly endorsed in the referendum.
